Nicoletta J. Stefanidis, OD, FAAO
Optometrist
Dr. Nicoletta Stefanidis joined Harvard Eye Associates in 1998 after having practiced in the South Orange County community of Laguna Hills for eight years prior.
She graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1989 after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Optics in 1987 and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry in 1985 from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Stefanidis completed a one year residency program at the Veterans Administration in Los Angles with an emphasis in geriatric and rehabilitative care. She has extensive knowledge in the area of contact lens fitting and provides care to patients with specialty lenses for needs such as keratoconus, aphakia, and athletic requirements.
Dr. Stefanidis was one of the first California optometrists to be therapeutically
drug certified which has enabled her to care not only for the refractive needs
of her patients, but also for the ocular health needs of her patients. She
is able to work closely with the medical doctors at Harvard Eye Associates
to provide comprehensive eye care. Trained by the medical doctors at Harvard
Eye Associates, Dr. Stefanidis has skillfully perfected pre and post operative
care of their cataract and laser vision correction patients.
Dr. Stefanidis enjoys gardening, reading and trying new culinary feats. She resides in Rancho Santa Margarita with her husband, Ted and their two sons, Austin and Brandon.
